10 steps to opening your coaching practice:
- Become a certified coach
- Make a business plan (you don’t have to give it to anyone if you are not trying to get any loans it is just nice to have for yourself to see if you are on track)
- Make a budget (for yourself)
- Name your coaching business
- Decide on your business structure (sole proprietor, partnership, L.L.C. ETC)
- File your business with the secretary of state, city hall or do a web search in your area to find out where to file your business
- Open a business account
- Build a web site
- Start a paypal account
- Keep all of your receipts
